Description: Carved Wooden Horse with Brass and Mother of Pearl Saddle. This horse is unmarked, but I have found some similar pieces in my research were being identified -- old Chinese made. I only found two other horses and one was sold -not in the US. The horse and brass trim are in excellent condition. The only possible damage to the back of the saddle; on each side the mother of pearl comes up to the back of the saddle and on the one side it feels as though the top piece of shell is chipped of as the edge feels a little rough. Please look at the pictures. It is such a beautiful and unique piece of sculpture.
