Description: CAPODIMONTE PIERCED RETICULATED CERAMIC TABLE LAMP CHERUB PUTTI SIGNED ITALY VTG Up for your consideration is this Very Beautiful Vintage Capodimonte Handmade Italian Table Lamp with reticulated / pierced details. The ceramic body of the lamp features a twisted or swirled design with hand painted panels depicting cherubs / putti and a woman in a red and yellow wrapped dressed. Each figure is embossed for added depth and texture. The forest green borders tie in nicely with the soft pastels colors and gold accents / outlines. Please note that the pictures are a mix between flash on and flash off since it was hard to capture the true beauty of this lamp. Two of the pictures show the inside of the body from underneath allowing you to see where it is signed "Italy". Even though it is not signed Capodimonte we do believe this to be an original piece due to its craftsmanship and design however we cannot be positive. The lamp sits on 4 dolphin like brass legs which sits on top of a brass toned circular base with intricate filigree edge. There is no lamp shade included allowing you to dress this lamp however you choose. It would make a lovely addition to your Italian themed decor.
