It features a loving grandmother reading a story to her grandchildren. Both children are listening closely and so is the cat! The detail is very fine and it is of the finest quality porcelain. This fabulous piece was created and signed by the famed Italian artist D. Bonalberti. Please see below for more information about this wonderful artist. It still has attached the string with the Capodimonte tag but unfortunately the little booklet with the information about the artist came off while I was taking the pictures for this listing. If one wanted to a new hole can be punched into the little card but I will leave that up to the new owner. It is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks and the gold work is excellent. What a great gift for a grandchild to give to their grandmother to show her they will never forget the memories they made together. Simply put this piece is just breath takinging!
