Description: The VR-30A recorder and the VC-20A camera have been tested and work. The VR-40A turns on but the tape bay will not open. The base unit VT-50A does not turn on. There are no batteries. the CA-30A is a battery charger and a plug in power source for both recorders. The system was 'broadcast quality' in the 80's. The Saticon camera was considered high quality and professional in the day. The control button switches on the recorders were touted as very heavy duty. With both recorders connnected to the editor, it functioned very well and did a reasonable video sync during edits. The editor comes in the original carton. This is a one owner set of equiment with all original manuals. There are the original carrying straps for the recorders. Included is very long dedicated power cable for the recorders that plug into auto cigar lighter sockets. For connecting the video/audio inputs and outputs to patching cables, the original adapter leads are included for each recorder. Also a long wired remote for each recorder.
