Description: Offered for sale is a Candlewick 8 inch salad / luncheon plate in the RARE Viennese Blue color. The "Candlewick" pattern was manufactured by the Imperial Glass Company from 1936-1986, a very long production. However, the light blue, which the Imperial Glass Company called "Viennese Blue", was only manufactured during the mid-1930's. This is the information that I gathered in the excellent reference book "Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era" by Cathy & Gene Florence (copyright 2009, 13th edition). You rarely bump into the lovely light blue Candlewick and I suggest that you buy it when you find it. I am also offering a candleholder in blue in another listing. The condition is EXCELLENT USED with no chips, no cracks, and no discoloration. There may be a tiny scratch or two but the condition is really amazing. Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase. You will fall in love with the color and clarity!!****You are purchasing ONE PLATE.
