These figures of the popular California Raisins were part of a 4-toy series of fast food toys available at Hardee's fast food restaurants (the now defunct chain that merged with Carl's Jr). These figures were highly popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This was the FOURTH (and last) California Raisins series (A 4-figure series came out in 1987; and a 6-figure series and larger 4-doll plush series) in 1988). These figure appeal to California Raisins and fast food toy collectors. Since Hardee's no longer exists and not as widely collected as McDonald's (yet highly desired by California Raisins fans and collectors), the entire 18-raisin collection (from 1987-1991) are becoming hard to find, and I consider rare.
