Description: This is a black & white circa 1900 or so photographic stereoview. The title of this stereoview is "12479 -- Cotton! Cotton! Cotton Levee New Orleans, La." The scene shows lots of people on a dock covered with bales of cotton. There is a marvelous paddlewheel boat which is present to have the cotton loaded on. Many of the letters on the name of the boat are readable but a few are blocked by other parts of the boat. The front bottom edge is marked "Keystone View Co. Manufacturer Copyrighted Publisher." The back of the view has a lot of text about the image. The stereoview measures 7 inches long by 3 1/2 inches. The stereoview has some wear & a few bumps at the corners & edges.
