This early image is part of the scarce 'British Museum Series' published by C.E. Elliott and is titled 'No.305 - Sculptures, Mausoleum Room'. Darrah states that Elliott used photographs by Valentine Blanchard (rather than the Roger Fenton series of British Museum negatives). This is just one of a number of interesting photographic items on offer this month and would make an excellent addition to any collection. Overall it is in good condition but there may be marks / fading / spotting consistent with age and usage.
