Description: Up for auction is a rare professional 1936 C. G. Conn 26M "Connqueror" silver plated "Naked Lady" alto saxophone with gold plated inner bell and rolled tone holes. The pads and corks are in poor condition. This alto saxophone needs new pads, corks and springs replaced to be made playable or overhauled/restored for optimal performance. There is a major bottom bow dent and other minor body dents can be removed during any future work performed. The socket neck has a micro-tuner and no signs of pull down. This tarnished silver alto saxophone has scratches throughout from normal use and some silver plating wear with approximately 75% of the plating intact. The serial number is in the M270,xxx range which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1936. Included is a non-original used plastic alto saxophone case and is fine for shipping(has a strong musty odor, latches work, handle is intact) but should probably be replaced. No mouthpiece or body plug is included and the thumbrest is missing. This is being sold in "as-is" condition and the pictures provided are considered as part of the description.
