Description: Haven't seen this one before? Neither had I. Before I even get into the description proper, this is a large Screen Stars, the slim_punk standard, doesn't get any better (look how dope it looks on me). At the time when a piece of merch like this would have been (in a limited way) distributed, the Buttholes were known for touring relentlessly. I caught them whenever they came through Boston, once at the Channel in the late 80s and then again at (I think) the Middle East. They had the two drummers then, and the movie screen behind them, upon which they projected a series of quite disturbing images (eye operations, sex change operations, etc.). How they got that footage, preinternet, is anyone's guess. The shows back then were an all out assault on your senses: loud as f**k, strobe lights, sweaty bodies all packed together, all of us on acid--it was totally nuts. So suffice it to say that this shirt was a rare, fortunate find. Perfectly broken in to absolute perfection, soft with no flaws, stainless and single-stitched. Fits me like it's been waiting for me all of its life. A one of a kind shirt from a one of a kind band. Insanely dope.
