This is a rare mint Buck 408MBSPB-B Kalinga Fixed Blade Full Tang Knife. Only 100 were handmade by Buck to honor Paul Boss. The handle is made of Maple Burlwood. It is model 0408MBSPB. It features a 5" S30V steel blade. This knife was hand made to commemorate the farewell of Paul Boss from Buck and his unparalleled expertise in the field of metallurgy. The blade also features a laser cutout of the BOS logo. The knife is 10" long with a 5" upswept blade. The handle is made from maple burl wood and has two polished brass rivets. The finger guard is made from Polished Brass. The knife comes with a factory solid walnut display with the commemorative event cut in the front. This knife is number 008 of 100. The serial number is on the back of the knife with Paul Bos' hand engraved signature on the front of the blade and pen ink signatures of Charles T. Buck Chairman of Buck Knives and CJ Buck President of Buck Knives on the Certificate of Authenticity. The knife comes in the Buck Factory box with the Certificate of Authenticity and other papers.
