The first 40 minutes of this film is docudrama and hisinteractions with young Brandon and wife Linda. There are interviews with men who worked withBruce. He goes into the meaning behind the "shave and a haircut-two bits" routine Bruce gets into in the GOD nunchuk scene. Then, we get into the REAL GOD footage- in its entirety. The biggestchange in this unedited version is the fight between Bruce and Japanese Karate expert. The Karateexpert looks completely more threatening and skillful then he did in 78. Bruce even has dialoguewith all three of his fighters. His fight with Kareem Abdul Jabar gave us perhaps the most bizarredeleted shot in the entire footage; Abdul Jabar's eyes turning into cat's eyes when the sun rays hithis face. Unfortunately the footage does not explain why, but we know now why he wears sunglassesand he is distracted by the fight in the pagoda fight scene...
