Description: British uniform dated 1952 for Major Reed from the East Surrey Regiment. The good Major obviously served in WW2 in the Italian Campaign. Major Reed distinguished himself as he was “Mentioned in Dispatches” as indicated in his service ribbons. Uniform is in good used condition with several small holes throughout but is still a great addition to anyone’s collection! Jacket is approx 38” in the chest and the MAJ had a 30” (or less) waist. Very lean officer indeed! Jacket has aroma associated with stored military items.
