Description: Custom bike by Brent Steelman circa 2012. Dedacciai Zero Replica tubing. Handcut stainless steel headbadge brazed in place. Paint by Keith Anderson, kind of pink, kind of purple metallic. Almost flawless. A couple of small chips in the stem which have been touched up. Frame is near flawless. Almost zero oxidation inside tubeset. Cable routing has been optimized for the right brake lever to actuate the front brake caliper and left/rear. Could be setup either way. Some material has been removed on the inside of each brake caliper to allow a large (30mm) tire to be run with minimal interference. Currently setup with supple 28mm gumwall tires from Japan--plenty of room surrounds the tire. Built in neo-retro style. 2009-2011 Campagnolo Chorus 11 speed parts. Handbuilt wheels resemble the racing wheels of yesteryear. H Plus Son box section rims in hard ano grey, double butted spokes by Sapim, brass nipples by Dt Swiss, Campagnolo Record hubset (easily serviced--cup & cone). This is the most interesting bike of my collection and I'm sorry to see it go. It just doesn't match my riding style--it has a short wheelbase and snappy handling. I'm sure the next owner will love it as I have.
