Description: This Breitling 'Top Time' Chronograph Ref# 2002 manufactured in Genève Switzerland is a stunning vintage piece from the 1960s. The watch features a 36mm stainless steel case with a polished finish and an inner tachymeter bezel. The silver dial has stick and baton indexes, a 12-hour dial, and two subdials for the chronograph function. This fine timepiece is powered by a Swiss-made Valjoux 7730 mechanical (manual) movement with 17 jewels and an acrylic crystal. The black leather factory strap is made by Breitling and has a 'Breitling' engraved buckle closure. This unisex watch is a perfect combination of luxury and sport, suitable for any occasion. I have owned this watch for over 20 years. The watch was serviced, dial refinished, and crystal replaced by an authorized Breitling Repair Center @ 15 years ago, and is in overall very good condition showing very minor wear from very limited use since being service. The stainless case has slight wear and is in fantastic condition for the age of the watch. The outer tachometer dial ring is like new and the numbers from 60 to 1000 are clear and legible. The chronograph starts, stops, and resets exactly. The black leather Breitling factory strap is in nice condition with the factory Breitling logo buckle. Although this watch has never been near sink water, an MRI machine, or worn during a fall from any height since I have owned it, the case back is original to the watch and reads: 'Waterproof - Anti-Magnetic - Shock Protected'. I, for one, would not test this theory with ANY vintage watch. ;-) The watch runs well and current timekeeping in the dial up (+0.5 seconds per day) and the chronograph function resents perfectly.
