Backs irregularly shaped, about 8.5 wide at lower bout, 22+ long , sanded to about 0.160 thick Sides, 32 long, 5 wide sanded to approximately 0.120 thick.NIce tap, Brazilian ebony is closer to very dark purple as opposed to jet black. Very rare cool stripes in this set. Some defects outside pattern. Reminds me of katalox, and I believe they are both swarzia spp, so relatives, not curly like katalox often is and the sapwood is slightly more yellow/gold in color than on katalox. The edges have not been jointed, as I have left them as wide as possible.
