Description: Here is a 45 degree brass muzzle lapping kit. The kit includes a small container of silicon carbide lapping compound to remove the micro burrs on the end of the lands and grooves at the barrel crown. It has a range from .17 to .50 cal. The shank is 3/8" diameter. It can be used on a lathe or hand drill. Just dip the tip of the lap in the compound and run at medium speed and apply light pressure. Note: This is NOT a crowning tool. It is a lapping tool to remove micro burrs after cutting a new crown or touching up an existing crown. Please ask any questions before bidding. This is the ORIGINAL lapping kit on ebay.
