Description: Bradley Hubbard Leaded Slag Glass Antique Vintage Arts Crafts Lamp Handel Era ITEM DESCRIPTION: Remember folks no 20-30% auction buyers premium here on this sale like the auction houses of today are getting. That's an unbelievable savings!!! Also please check out my other eBay lighting items for sale as well. Thank you. I have for sale this very nice 1905-1925 arts and crafts period Bradley and Hubbard slag glass lamp with overlaid brickwork and art and crafts design filligree. What a great great look and it’s in very good overall condition. These Bradley and Hubbard sort of boudoir/accent lamps do not come up for sale often and if they do, not in the very nice condition like this one is. It measures 14.5 inches tall, with the shade being 8.5 inches wide. Let’s start with the shade. The glass in the shade with very nice triple colors as you can see from the photos. A great combination of color which b and h used often and you can see why here. No missing glass segments in the shade of course, no broken areas of glass, and no filligree losses to be found as well. Now onto the base. It’s in fine working order and has no metalware breaks or issues. Recently rewired with period style cloth cord and old style plug. The lamp in excellent original frog skin green patina as well. This lamp lights up better than photographed. It would look particularly well sitting on a Stickley or Limbert style table or desk due to its arts and crafts design and form. I purchased this lamp as you see it here in this listing. All in all a super nice arts and crafts style lamp by one of the best makers there ever was so you cant beat that. Please check out my other 50 plus ebay lighting listings as well. Thanks. Due to the high costs of shipping we are going to post a shipping cost for the Eastern time zone that applies to only the Eastern time zone. From there our rates will increase from the base price posted for the Eastern Time Zone as follows: Central Time Zone Add: 15% Mountain Time Zone Add: 25% Pacific Time Zone Add: 35% Please know that my shipping costs are typically cheaper than other ebay sellers and we pack better than 98% of them because we ship out a hundred lamps a year or more compared to just a few for the others. If the winning bidder is from the Northeast I would like to try and get this delivered by one of my employees if possible. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. Horseheads ny to Detroit mi, Detroit mi to Chicago il, Chicago il to Indianapolis In to Cincinnati oh, Cincinnati oh to Pittsburgh pa, Pittsburgh to Washington dc, Washington dc to manhattan ny, manhattan ny to boston ma, boston ma to Albany ny, Albany ny to buffalo ny. If this option is something you would like to discuss, email me, and if there is a shipping amount posted on the listing, we would honor that dollar amount and not go over it so it doesn’t cost you any further money. TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS Bidders please remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. Chances are if there aren't any, it's a newer item and you shouldn't want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don't want to do a refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn't perfect on a 2,000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more experienced an antique dealer or buyer is, the more understanding of condition they are. That being said, if you think you're going to be a difficult buyer because you want perfection in a 100 year old piece, please purchase another ebay seller's product. ebay has made it very difficult for sellers in the past few years yet I'm a good seller who wants to be fair and all I ask for is a fair buyer to do business with. Thanks for your understanding
