Description of the object:Wonderful ceramic vase entirely hand-crafted on a lathe, glazed with rich gold-coloured metallic enamels and finished with a lustre, marked under the base "Bottega Gatti Faenza" and with a drawing of a cat's face, a brand belonging to the "Gatti & C" factory, founded in 1928 by Riccardo Gatti and Luigi Montabilini, dating back to the second half of the 20th century.Useful information for the evaluation of the object: We have placed, just below this description, some similar vases by Riccardo Gatti to give an idea of the value of this type of vase, all finished with the same enamel as ours and color that changes slightly from one point to another of the vase, all quoted at very high prices, ranging from €300-1,000 up to estimates of as much as €1,500-2,500.Information about the artist and/or manufacturer: Born in 1886, Riccardo Gatti, one of the most important Faenza ceramists of the 20th century, founded the "Gatti & C." factory in Faenza in 1928.
