Share the magic! ****** I think the Boston Box version of the classic Okito Box is one of the truly great improvements in magic. It takes an already great prop, and makes it much more deceptive. Yes, you give up the ability to let the spectator examine the box, but a good Boston coin box routine is so "clean", that the box tends to rise above suspicion. I have spectators ask to examine my hands, but not the box or coins. :-) I won't go into to much detail on what you can do with this box, because there are a lot of sources for Boston box routines. (Bobo's Modern Coin Magic, for example -- which you should have in your library, or if you don't, buy it before you buy this box!) The box does come with instructions for a couple of routines, but you will also have fun thinking up your own handlings. Also you can use a Boston Box without a lid, as a German box -- no extra charge for that bonus prop :-) Nice quality prop, the box is turned from wood, polished and lacquered. The lid has indented circles cut into the top and around the edge, giving this box an "expensive, classy" appearance. And because it is wood and not the usual brass composition, it looks very different from what the other guys are using, plus it is much lighter weight in your pocket. Box holds four US half dollar coins. (It will hold five English Pennies, as they are slightly thinner.) NOTE: the four half dollar coins shown in the photos are NOT included. Random side note: I like to use Franklin half dollars with this box, since it looks sort of like an antique, and I tell people it is very similar to the snuff box that Ben Franklin used :-) I am sure someone will ask, so I will add here: I do not currently have a matching (examinable) Okito box to go with this Boston Box.
