An original bonsai pot, Heian Izumiyama, produced by a pottery that has inherited that tradition. The pottery was founded in 1926 in the neighborhood of Heian Tofukuji Temple and Higashiyama Sennyuji Temple in Kyoto, where Wakusen made his pottery. Touan, the largest pottery of Kyoto ware and Kiyomizu ware, which is currently in its fourth generation. By chance, I teamed up with KINBON to make Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki bonsai pots. The mold adopts the Mokko type, which has a reputation for its modern design and ease of use in the small bonsai world. The glaze is a 'purple crystal' unique to Kyoto and Kiyomizu potteries. The crystals that form a beautiful scenery on the base of the elegant purple glaze show a unique texture. The appearance of the crystals is different on each sheet, and it is characterized by the fact that no two have the same pattern, so you can enjoy a wide variety of crystal shapes.
