The original buyer returned because they feel it has been painted. The last five photos show the areas of concern - I am not experienced enough with painted bags to know for sure if that is in fact the case. I initially cleaned this bag with lexol cleaner and didn't notice any color transfer/lifting(I did use white cloth the first time). Had no problems with 2 coats of Leather CPR and 1 coat of Bick4 being absorbed. Yesterday I cleaned spots of concern again with a pink sponge & lexol and no colorant so, I'm not sure. Condition: Very Good vintage condition. There is minor color loss throughout the entire bag, most notably on the straps at the top. There are some marks(spots) on the interior of one of the pockets - 90% of the spots that were there came off during her spa treatment, I did not want to get too aggressive with the remaining spots and risk damaging the leather. It looked to me like there was some sort of sticker placed on it and when removed left those spots, which collected dirt over the years. One side of the bags leather is very textured as opposed to the other side. Interior kisslock pocket is clean and in good shape. There are a few dents and dark spots on the sides from the kisslock frame rubbing up against it. There is scratching and color loss on the kisslock frame as well. Repairs, cleaning/conditioning products used: No repairs needed. The feet, rivets and kisslock frame were cleaned with sunshine polishing cloth. Cleaned with lexol cleaner. 2 rounds of Leather CPR and 1 round Bick4 - brushed with horsehair brush between coats.
