Goldfinch figurine from Boehm Porcelain. While Boehm originated their studio pottery inTrenton, New Jersey, this piece was created at their studio in England. Printed on the underside of this piece is:the Boehm (Malvern studio) logo, "Bone Porcelain" "Goldfinch""(Carduelis tristis)""200-91""Made in England" plus the initials "RV", which may be for the decorator/painter.These can be seen in photos #12 and #13. MEASUREMENTS about 3.5" (9cm) tall about 4" (10.2cm) in lengthabout 2" (5cm) at widest point No damages noted. That being said, there are some minorimperfections that are not unusual to find in hand-painted porcelain ... some errant paint marks, small smudges, tiny areas that missed getting painted. The third from the last photo shows some small areas within the moss that missed getting painted.The second from the last photo shows what appears to be faint smudges of black paint at the edges of thewing and tail feathers (whether on purpose or by accident, I don't know)The final photo shown a small errant brush stroke of paint that was used to paint the legs/feet of the goldfinch on the front edge of a wing (also some verytiny black splatters that might be on purpose) No original gift box is available for this, it will bepacked securely for shipping.
