It was published by Frederick Warne and Co., Ltd., of London, in 1949 (date of copyright) and is the FIRST EDITION. This wonderfully illustrated book tells the story of a bay pony along a similar vein to that of Anna Sewell’s “Black Beauty.” The book measures 8.5 inches x 6.25 inches and has 176 pages. The book is in good, neat and clean condition for its age, with wear and tears to the original duct-jacket (price-clipped) with a little light foxing near the covers/rims.
