This great obsolete police badge stamping die was manufactured by Blackington to be used by the Ambridge, PA police department. The heavy (over 12lbs) stamping die is solidly built and features the iconic design of the soaring American eagle crowning laurel-framed medallion badge. The die has fine and crisp detailing. The piece is marked on top "Blackington" and on the side "BC2500 S7 11 99". Die presents well and is in very good vintage condition, with minor wear, oxidation, and patina commensurate with age. This rare and historic law enforcement artifact will make an outstanding addition to any antique and vintage badge and die collection...Fresh to the market!
