Description: Black Walnut Dresser with Beveled Mirror Top It is made of mostly Black Walnut , some solid , some veneer Drawers are constructed of another wood on the inside The facia of the dresser is beautifully Carved , Veneered and Lathed This piece still has the Original hardware drawer pulls , and the locks on drawers are shown , although the lock mechanisms are frozen and immovable due to time and disuse There are no keys for the locks . An enterprising new owner could restore them to working locks Small brackets are on each side of dresser , to firmly secure the furniture to the wall , as depicted The veneering on the front of drawers is Burled black walnut There is some minute cracking on the veneer in several locations Evidence of the high quality and fine wood craftsmanship on this piece is the incredibly easy sliding action of the drawers . As the saying goes : "They don't make them like this , anymore." The beveled mirrors are holding up well for the age .
