Likely, this bison lived and died in a time when millions of bison roamed the open range. There is some weathering to one of the horn cores (the tip is missing, and the bone suface of the skull is also somewhat weathered, as shown in the photos. This has been stabilized using paraloid b-72, and the condition is as shown in the photos. I will offer a partial refund on shipping if the calculated shipping is outrageous.
