This arrived quickly and the camp design is even nicer in person. Same with the material. It’s soft and water repellent. In case of heavier rain there is a handy waterproof rain cover in a concealed back pocket, and it has a stretchy strap to secure it to the bag inside its pocket for storage. One outer mesh pocket, three outer zip pockets, and a great & totally SILENT large pocket that cleverly opens from your own view for binoculars or other items. This bag is excellent! The straps were a slight challenge at first to adjust - I suggest opening them all the way, holding the nag against you where you want it to sit, and then adjusting the straps with it in place. This pouch makes it easier not to spook wildlife by taking off a backpack. The harness crisscrosses, with fabric and mesh, across the back and has a, across the chest, strap for comfort and security. The flap opens from your chest outward for ease of use. Because binoculars come in different sizes, to show the main pouches capacity, I added two pop cans, the front pouch is not padded but it can hold a pop can tightly zippered. The two side pouches zipper and are lightly padded. They can hold items, about the size of three granola bars, each. There is a mesh pouch on the back that can hold one large cellphone upright. In particular, the magnetic closure for the top-flap is a fantastic idea because it can be easily operated with one hand, and does not produce the noise of either velcro or a zipper closure. The additional pouch space for small items is also an excellent addition, as is the integrated rain cover. The straps stay in place which is also another plus point.The only downside for me is that it is small (see pics). None of my 4 sets binoculars would fit in the pack.
