Description: I bought the refurbished frame on EBay about 5 years ago. New paint and decals dating the bike to 1987 and frame features and style matched the Nuovo Alloro model Frame size is 57 cm, C-C, 57 cm TT, and 17 cm HT. Tubing is Columbus Bianchi Special. It came with an alloy OMAS headset. Rear frame triangle was professionally widened to 130 mm to accomodate the more modern Campagnolo Record 9-10 speed hub wheels from 2003 that I already had. I built it mostly as an Eroica bike using vintage parts I had on hand and a few I acquired. I've put about 500 miles on it. Crank: Campagnolo Strada 170mm, 53X42 with Campy BBDerailleurs and shifters: Campagnolo Nuovo Record, friction shifters.Brakes and levers: Campagnolo Nuovo Record with new Kool Stop pads installed in original holders. Jagwire lined cable housing. New Campy cables.Pedals: Black cage Campy Record, new dust caps, Christophe Medium toe clips and nylon straps.Wheels: Campagnolo Record polished aluminum hubs, rear for 9/10 speed. Mavic 28 spoke Open Pro rims, DT Swiss spokes. Handbuilt by Colorado Cyclist in 2003 for another bike I had at the time.
