Relaxed the coiled portion of this cord is about 18 to 20 inches long, NOT 12 FEET. Add a little more for the uncoiled portion on each end. It is called a 12 foot cord because 12 feet of material goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing but it's the standard. Sold by the tens of thousands, this is a high quality generic cord, made in China with gold plated contacts. It is not OEM (original equipment manufacturer). This cord works on nearly any phone made in the last 50 years. Just make sure your old cord "clicks" in place on both ends.
