Description: This 1977 German import stereo album from Deutsche Grammophon (2530 869) features a performance of Beethoven's Klaviersonate Nr. 29 B-dur op. 106 (Piano Sonata No. 29 in B-flat major, Op. 106), performed on piano by Maurizio Pollini. Notes are included in a large (album-sized) 4-page booklet in German, English and Italian. Oddly, the original German notes are not credited, but the English translation is by John Coombs and Italian translation by Paolo Pitazzi. Also included are photocopied reviews of the performance from the January 1978 and March 1978 editions of Gramophone. The outer sleeve has a small corner squash at the lower left corner of the front side (see Photo 1), and shows a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear.
