Description: Up for sale is a beautiful RS Prussia lidded biscuit jar. It has a fancy shape that is decorated with baskets of roses and bright colors. The base of the piece is slightly oval which measures 8 1/2" across the handles and varies from 6 1/8” – 6 3/8” at the ruffled top with a total height of approximately 4 3/4". It is marked on the bottom of the base as seen in the photos. In looking the piece over we find it to be in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing and the floral decoration is complete. Along the ruffled top edge is a factory flaw / void that they decorated over the top of and there are random dark spots. The handles show gold wear, but the balance of the piece is mostly complete with little if any wear. See photos for more detail. Please see my listings for other unique items.
