Its a BEAUTIFUL 1880s O/C LANDSCAPE PAINTING WHEAT HARVESTING FARM SCENE Signed D HAYES. It comes in very nice condition as described above. What a beautiful view looking at this old painting. Almost looks like a window scene. 2 guys out in the wheat field bundling up their wheat or Grain. Farm house and trees in the background. I am not sure who the artist Hayes is, but they were quite talented as this old beauty was really well painted. Love the color of the sky too. A recently passed buddy of mine, Jack, once said to me that if an artist can paint a good sky, then they can paint a good painting. He sure was right about that , and this piece is a great sky!
