Description: Description: This is the legendary Beaulieu S2008 Super8mm camera with the amazing zoom lens P. Angenieux 8-64mm 1.9 !!! This camera is for sale - AS IS -What you see is what you get and the seller makes no warranty of its working condition. I have not use the camera in a long time. It was originally modified to use Double A batteries with a four pin cable but I think you will be have more luck having a company like pro8mm LA to refurbish your lens to be MANUAL and a new battery pack as the double A batteries are a little funky. I think the camera works but the lens ever since being the original ZOOM servo are too old and a little too noisy to work with double A batteries in AUTO mode and it may need an overhaul/REBUILD (Pro8mm LA does this service also) to be use only in MANUAL mode and so you can also attach lens to another cameras with mount C. This cameras were the few super 8mm with detachable lens! Thus, this has an amazing glass and is better to be overhaul to mount to be use MANUAL. Any way this camera is a great start for a future GATE 16x9 conversion! You need to begin with a nice original Beaulieu S2008 Super 8 movie camera such as this one to take it to a next level in modifications! and the value will increase as well!
