There is a hairline crack in the cup! There is no fading of the delicate floral pattern OR the gold gilding around the rim. This item was kept in a glass enclosed display case. Origination: Bavaria-region Town of Weiden located in Western Germany. Company: Seltmann- originally started by Christian Seltmann and at this time was run by his two sons. Stamp/Mark: used between 1949-1954 The "Monika" Series was produced right after WWII when the company was in deep recovery from the war with limited staff. This makes this series unique & somewhat RARE and definitely harder to find in this pristine condition. Measurements: Saucer--4.5" Diameter Cup--1 7/8" H Item has always been in a smoke free home.
