The scope of the game is such that the most important factors present in the actial campaign are recreated in the game, but the side that will ultimately win depends on the players involved. The players take the roles of the opposing commanders - they are in command, and it is their decisions and their actions that will determine the result. Objective: Atlanta is basically a two player game. The players alternately move their units and execute attacks on enemy units while attempting to fulfill the Victory Conditions.
