Terminals are 20 gauge yellow brass also known as cartridge brass which is 70 percent copper 30 percent zinc. Terminals can be soldered onto if you want a super solid connection, also the pocket fits 2, 2 conductor 221 wagos.Adapters have pluses and minuses on both sides of them indicating the positive and negative terminals of the M18. The mold for injection molding these, and the metal stamp for stamping out the brass terminals were made in the USA.The brass terminals were stamped out in the USA, and the injection molding of this was done in the USA.DISCLAIMER THESE UNITS DON'T HAVE ANY PROTECTION CIRCUITS IN THEM, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. The following sentences are directions on how to use this injection molded Milwaukee M18 battery Adapter. The first step is to mount the adapter where you want it, the holes are for M4, #8, or other flat head screws. Run your preferred wire (silicone, pvc, pe, nylon etc...) and preferred gauge (10, 12, 14, 16 etc...) to the adapter.Solder wires onto brass terminals or crimp female 6.3 mm spades onto your wires, and plug them into the adapter. You can run your wires horizontally or vertically out of the adapter, vertically stays inside the adapter for a low profile. Additional helpful Information You can connect most batteries in parallel and/or series if the batteries are exactly the same. If you don't want to over discharge your battery use a digital low voltage protector disconnect. If you want a higher voltage like 24, 36, 48, or 60 volts use a dc to dc step up boost converter. If you want a lower voltage like 5 or 12 volts use a dc to dc buck converter.
