Description: This beautiful Officina Battaglin Portofino (Columbus Steel) is number 0 of 99, and is finished in Officina Battaglin's renowned Cromovelato finish. This bike's purpose was primarily to test some processes of applying Cromovelato like paint to handlebars, Campagnolo brake levers, etc. It is a one-off bike, which is like most Battaglin bikes these days. It features Columbus steel tubing and oversized steel lugs, which is custom drawn for Battaglin. The fork is carbon, I believe it is by Deda Elementi. I acquired this amazing bike during a trip to Italy in 2023 and purchased it directly from Officina Battaglin's showroom. All I have done since owning this bike is ogle it, take photos, and keep it safe. It is NEW. The bike is pictured with American Classic tubeless Timekeeper tires and Silver Campagnolo Record brakes. For the sale, these items will be substituted for Continental 5000 tires (new) and Campagnolo Record Skeleton brakes in Black. These two items were on the bike when it was purchased from Battaglin, I substituted them later. With that said, if the winning bidder really desires these items, that can be arranged. Sizing:Top Tube - 53.5cm (should work for riders who prefer 54 - 54.5)Head Tube - 14cm Seat Tube Center to Top - 53cm Handlebars Outside to Outside - 46cm (a little odd being so wide), but they match the bike perfectly. Stem - 105mm Components:Campagnolo Record 11 Speed, everything is new, 172.5mm cranks (50/34 Chainrings), 11-27 cassette. Reminder, the sale will include new Record Skeleton brakes in Black, that were fitted to the bike from Battaglin. I believe the color matched carbon seatpost is by Deda Elementi, with at least 20mm of setback, 27.2mm, and plenty long enough to raise, and short enough to lower and still see that beautiful Cromovelato-like paint.Wheels are Deda Elementi SL 48 Carbon, they are Tubeless compatible and fitted with Enduro Ceramic bearings.Saddle is by Selle San Marco, Short FitKing Titanium bottles cages pictured are not included with the sale.Deda computer mount is included with the sale.
