Description: THE BARRACUDA Mk II BARRACUDA MK II STEPS UP THE GAME ONCE AGAIN...The Barracuda is without a doubt the most popular and successful motorcycle engined buggy in the world. Over the last 12 years of success Edge Products have been listening to customer feedback as well as developing in-house upgrades and tweaks. These improvements have been rolled together to give the Barracuda Mk II. The core performance and driveability of the Barracuda are as strong as ever, while strength and reliability have been taken to new heights.WHAT'S NEW?The Barracuda Mk II's biggest changes are the rear suspension unit and the front upper arms and uprights. The Barracuda’s original PIRCV rear suspension has been overhauled into the tougher CV2 unit, originally developed for the X2 buggy with tougher arms and driveline and more brake options. The CV2 reverse also integrates electric reverse. The Barracuda’s front upper suspension arms have been replaced with a two-piece design which is easier to fabricate and provides more adjustability. These work in conjunction with taller uprights which run twin-piston XVS calipers and larger brake rotors. The Barracuda front suspension is now fully interchangeable with the X2 buggy. On the chassis side, the Barracuda Mk II introduces a fabricated hip frame for ease of construction, several structural improvements and an aluminium high-capacity fuel tank.A WHOLE NEW LEVEL...The Barracuda has taken the Mini buggy concept to a whole new level of technical advancement & sophistication. More than 25 years of Mini buggy design, development & thousands of buggies manufactured has resulted in the Barracuda, a lean & aggressive long travel buggy that you can build yourself.COMBINING THE BEST DESIGN FEATURES...The Barracuda combines the best design features from past Edge buggies into one high-performance package. Aggressive styling, the latest CV rear suspension technology & classic Edge toughness are all drawn from our stable of past vehicles.SUPER LONG SUSPENSION TRAVEL...An all new Double A arm front suspension design features rod end camber & castor adjustment & super long suspension travel at 500mm (20”).TALLER THAN AVERAGE? NO PROBLEM...More internal room to suit drivers up to 6’ 7” tall, (2.0m) more elbow room & a rollcage structure designed with the aid of computer stress analysis has resulted in a tough chassis to absorb the harshest offroad conditions.EASY & COMPREHENSIVE PLANSThe Barracuda plans is a comprehensive 230 pages with lots of 3D images.
