Top of the jar is hinged and has a round, center final. Elaborate Scrolling surrounds the piece and is also on the lid and tray. An unengraved Cartouche is visible on the front of the piece and is not monogrammed. Jar is marked on the bottom Barker Ellis EPNS with 3 circles indicating triple plated. Also states Made in England Biscuit Jar is 7 inches tall from table top to top of the finial. Tray is 7 inches in Diameter. Opening of the jar is 5 inches in diameter. Item weighs about 1.5 lbs. Item is in good condition without dings and with minimal scratches. Lid open and closes easily. Item polished well for pictures but could use a more detailed polish. There may be some plate loss.
