Description: Here's something for all you Greenwich Village historians---an original copy of Bruno's Weekly from March 18th,1916 published by one Guido Bruno. Known by many throughout the Village in the 1910s his various monikers included "the Barnum of Bohemia", "a literary vagabond" and "mayor of the Village" to mention a few. He published more than one short magazine and most involved the literary and artistic scenes of the Village. He was quite well known as a revolutionary and progressive figure in the long ago world of the 19 teens and his domain was definitely Greenwich Village. A wonderful character from a bygone time and place, here's a glimpse of that world in its original format from "his Garret on Washington Square".
