Augustus Bare head right / Corona rostrata: laurel wreath interwoven with rostra and tied with a fillet, the long ties drawn up across center. RIC I 473; RSC 335. Granular surfaces, scratches. Rare. It has been certified as genuine by NGC and graded Ch VF, a high grade for this type of coin. It was manufactured at the Pergamum mint cc 27 BC. This coin was in existence through out the life of Christ.
