The guitars have that heavy chainsaw sound that all those crazy Swede's pioneered, there's blast beats galore ( as well as plenty of d-beats) and guttural angry vocals in German to top it all off. The band lies more in the metal realm, but do a good job of borrowing aspects of the grind and crust wolf to add an edge to the release. This compilation fuses their ep of the same name and their split with Sweden's veterans Wolfbrigade. The songs don't have great variance, but you certainly know one apart from the other. Plenty of thrashy riffs in between crusty power chords all along with a death metal tone and an excellent heavy production make the guitars completely devastating. The mid tempo sections are powerful and offer plenty to head bang to (see the later part of "Bastarde Auf LeichenBergen" and the midsection of "Wahnsinn"). While faster (most of the album) sections are blazing as well as catchy and contain great riffs ( "Kopflos" and "Aussenwelt" are two of the best songs and have great fast paced riffs, the later containing a great mosh section too). Audio Kollaps do an exceptional job of melding different aspects from each genre and create a truly pleasurable and highly aggressive release.
