Description: I have picked up way to many 5 and 6 inch Lightning Whelks, so to remedy this I have put together 4 different assortments of shells that I have collected over the past 2 weeks. I only collect dead unoccupied shells, and I usually don't collect many from the tumbled part of the beach, so my shells are usually is exceptional shape. Theses were collected in Pinellas County Florida, near Fort Desoto State Park. I have Power washed them, Bleached them, and Dipped then in a weak acid solution to remove any residue. Normally I would put a coating on mineral oil on them, It really brings out the color, but these I did not just in case you want to use them in their natural super clean state.
