The top and sides of the instrument are one block of wood, hogged out to create a specific series of internal cavities and one long internal neck cavity. The neck cavity extends just past the bridge. With this design, the bridge is fixed to the bottom of the neck extensively making the instrument a neck through guitar. Having the neck extend well past the bridge to the tail would only add to the weight of the instrument. The guitar fully loaded weighs 6.7 to7 pounds. That is very light for a neck-through guitar.The Fully extended mahogany neck is fit with a 24 hardened nickel silver frets, 24-3/4? (628) scale length Indian rosewood fingerboard with a 14? radius. The machine heads are 15:1 gear ratio diecast tuners. The bridge is a Full Contact Systems Model FCS-1. The full-length knife edge allows the string vibration into the body through one point allowing for better sustain. The saddle pins and blocks allows for the maximum contiguous contact of all parts which fasten securely together providing better tone. Finished with a beautiful Vintage brown Burst with single binding. The upper bout is 9-1/4? wide and the lower bout is 14?. The one-piece Mahogany neck is meticulously set to the body allowing the upper frets to vibrate unimpeded, beautifully dressed and polished. The Pickups are well balanced Custom-M50 Alnico-5 mini humbuckers with a hot bridge M50H. The tone controls feature: 1 volume, 2 tone, 3 on/off slide switches to activate each pickup on or off and 3 slide switches to change the phase of each pickup.
