Description: This listing is for a set of 2 Ascot service plates made by Wood & Sons in England in Mid- 20th Century. Both plates are in excellent shape; one being a “decorative wall plate”, as noted on the back of the plate and never having been used, the other being an Ironstone service plate/charger that has been used but ALWAYS hand washed. There are minimal signs of wear, including the crazing on the backside of the plate, which is fairly common in this type of material over time.
