Description: Up for auction is a fascinating old record I found at an estate sale. It's a rehearsal record (perhaps an acetate) of Arturo Toscanini conducting the NBC Orchestra, and as he was known to do, he screams a lot at them, losing his temper, banding his baton on the lectern. It's pretty crazy. Some beautiful music; I'm not a classical expert so not sure what music they're rehearsing. I believe this is pretty rare; I can't find another record even from this label: Sal Maggi or Salmaggi. Must have just been a small outfit in New York City. 12-inch record that plays at 78 speed. I took a quick video of him yelling. Hopefully it'll get approved and you can hear. A really interesting piece of classical music history from one of the legends. Terrific old record with a great low opening bid. I'm happy to discount shipping for multiple purchases.
