Description: This listing is for a piece of a wallpaper Frieze made for the Camron Stanford House in Oakland CA. Handprinted in 1982 by Bradbury & Bradbury. The company was located in Benicia, CA. Interesting piece. From the June 6th, 2018 Collectors Weekly it stated the following: "Eastlake Dado" shown here in Dove Blue, was one of eight Bradbury & Bradbury wallpapers used by director Guillermo del Toro in his 2018 Academy Award winner, “The Shape of Water”.This pattern is Eastlake Dado in green. Please note - the full length of this frieze in Blue is for reference only - to show the pattern name and complete image. It is not included in this listing. Label from box also not included. The pattern is an Art Deco fan print in metallic gold, green and black, with rust on the border. Beautiful gold when light hits the paper. Written along the top is "@1982 Handprinted for The Camron Stanford House. Oakland CA." The pattern name and company name was on the bottom edge that was cut off. This image of this piece measures 22" H and 42" long. It has been cut horizontally. With the heading it is 23 1/2"". The original was 26 3/8" high. Condition: The piece is excellent overall but there are a few very minor flaws. Please see the last four pictures of these areas. There may be some other very small imperfections but these are the ones I saw when carefully inspecting the piece. This is a beautiful piece of artwork with historical and entertainment interest. Camron Sanford house is now a museum and hosts special events. Please message me with any questions. Thank you for viewing this listing.
