Description: Vintage from the 1920s This is a wonderful large oil and vinegar set made in Gouda, Holland by PZH (Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland). PZH is responsible for the type of pottery that has come to be identified as Gouda, having invented a process to produce matte glazed pottery called the Rhodian process. They introduced these abstract floral patterns circa 1910 and continued to evolve the style of decoration in keeping with the Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts and Art Deco styles as they became popular decorated in the art deco style and would date to the 1920sis made in a tall cylindrical shape with a handle and a tall cylindrical shape with a handle and a crown-like stopper, is signed "Ebro Holland" with the house logo used by PZH. The piece measures 11 3/4" in height with a diameter of about 4" at its widest. Never used in great condition
