Description: Up for auction is a Vintage/Antique Armand Marseilles Floradora doll. This was my mother-in-law's mother's doll when she was a child. I don't know much about it except for a card that was found with it. The doll features eyes that open, and close when laid down. She has a leather kid jointed stuffed body with a porcelain bisque face and hands. On the back of her head is stamped, "Germany 275 10/o". I believe 275 is the doll mold number. The doll measures about 14.5" tall. I think her hair was replaced as written on the card. There are hair pins in her hair---I guess to keep the curls in place. There are several pieces of clothing that I found. Not sure if they are handmade and go with the doll, but I am including them. I am not even sure if the dress she is wearing goes with the doll. The face is in good condition. The leather on the body shows cracking and stains from age. She is a little dirty, dusty, and musty smelling, as is the clothing. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!
